Started by the church, community and gang leaders in 1970 to combat the epidemic
use of heroin and violence, El Rincon Community Clinic has been an oasis of hope for an
under-served Latino Community in Chicago: the narcotic addict. The agency
has had a commitment to bringing change to a disenfranchised community
for years.
